Privacy Policy for Banoon

Last updated: May 25, 2026

Banoon provides parenting, child profile, child tracking, reminders, consultations, messaging, courses, subscriptions, and related health and wellness features. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and how users can request deletion of their data.

Information We Collect

How We Use Information

We use information to create and secure accounts, provide child tracking and reminders, manage consultations and bookings, send notifications, show relevant app content, provide support, improve app reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with legal or safety obligations.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell user personal information. We may share information with service providers only when needed to operate the app, such as hosting, push notifications, email delivery, analytics, authentication, and consultation services. Consultation information may be shared with the healthcare or service provider selected by the user. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect safety, or to investigate misuse of the service.

Data Retention

We keep account and child profile data while the user account remains active so the app can provide its services. Tracking records, reminders, consultation records, messages, bookings, subscriptions, support requests, and notification records are retained while the account is active unless the user deletes the account or requests deletion.

When a user deletes their account or requests deletion, we delete or anonymize personal account data and user-generated child, tracking, reminder, device token, and profile data from active systems. This deletion is generally completed within 30 days.

Some limited records may be retained for a longer period when necessary for legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or healthcare/service-provider record obligations. Backup copies may remain for a limited backup-retention period and are removed according to our normal backup rotation.

How Users Can Delete Their Data

Users can delete their account from inside the app by going to Profile, opening the account settings, choosing Delete Account, typing CONFIRM, and confirming deletion. When the account is deleted, the user will be logged out and their personal account data will be removed or anonymized as described above.

Users may also request deletion or correction of their data by contacting support at support@banooncare.com. We may ask for information needed to verify the account before processing the request.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect user data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Information

Banoon is intended for parents or guardians to manage information about their children. Child information is provided and controlled by the parent or guardian account holder. Parents or guardians may request deletion of child information through account deletion or by contacting support.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised last updated date.
